Noah Baumbach And Greta Gerwig Are Ending This Year With Their New Beginning
Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig are ending the year as partners as they tied the knot. Spies heard the Barbie director telling people at Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden concert backstage that they had just become man and wife Tuesday and got married at City Hall.
The source said, “They were both glowing and celebrating. They are so happy.” sources of Page Six said that Gerwig looked gorgeous in a stunning white jacket and suit skirt. Ther added, “She looked like a bride. He looked handsome in his suit.”
Sources are also saying that the newly married couple were gushing about their wedding at the City Hall a few moments before they went uptown to catch Joel at MSG. This low-key couple started dating back in 2011, and in 2020, they got engaged.
But that same year, she told James Corden that she did not prefer to call the director for the Oscar-nominated movie “Marriage Story” her “fiance.” She said it “makes it sound like there’s an imminent wedding.”
Back in March this year, Baumbach and Gerwig had their second child together. She mentioned in the Elle UK cover story that got published back in July that “he’s a little Schmoo. That’s very much his energy. He’s a wise little baby.”
They are parents to a 4-year-old son, Herold, and the director shares another son with Jennifer Jason Leigh, the actress. He was previously married to Leigh, but this is Gerwig’s first marriage.
