Sam Asghari Is Not Getting A Penny From Wife Spears’ $15 Million Memoir
Sam Asghari, the soon-to-be-ex-husband, will not be able to get any of the estimated fifteen million dollars that Britney Spears made from the book deal. The princess of the pop world confessed that she was “a little shocked” after their split but will release the tell-all memoir on October 24, “The Woman In Me.”
But 29-year-old Sam Asghari will not make any profit from the books, even if Britney speaks out the reason behind the sudden breakdown in their relationship after fourteen months in the book.
According to a source on Page Six, “Britney and Sam have a totally iron-clad prenup. He gets basically nothing — there are no millions, and he certainly will not profit from Britney’s book, that’s her book.”
Page Six previously reported that the pop princess spent a lot for Asghari on luxury vacations and private jets and left her all by herself for months. After many questions over the years about the finances comes the revelation of the revenue Spears’ would be making from her books.
In the ’90s, Spears got all the fame and was one of the leading personalities in the music world; she was earning the highest from music sales as well as touring. By the time she got into the conservatorship in 2008, she was practically broke.
Paying for child support
She has been paying millions to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, and would have to keep paying as long as he takes care of their kids, Jayden James, who is 16, and Sean Preston, who is 17 until they are adults.
The court documents that Page Six saw showed Spears’ net worth to be $59,079,755.76 on December 31, 2018. The Judge, Brenda Penny, was given detailed reports about her finances and released her of the conservatorship in November 2021.
If we keep aside the income she makes from the books, there is no significant income from music. She last released music a while ago. She just performed with Elton John and sang “Hold Me Closer” last August.
A source questioned, “What are her sources of income now? If you’re not touring or selling merchandise, it’s an issue, and Britney still has enormous legal fees as well.” According to a report by TMZ, Spears’ attorney has offered his services pro bono after he received more than four million dollars from the star.
Britney Spears used to pay her ex-husband a total of 20,000 dollars a month for child support, but he demanded to raise the amount to 60,000 dollars in May 2018. But Britney and Federline came to an agreement in August.
Inspite of all this, according to a source on Page Six said that she is working on making new music, but “Britney has $60 million, possibly more, she’s not hurting for money in any sense of the word.”
