Selena Gomez Wishes Happy Birthday To Best Friend Taylor Swift; Calls Her ‘Goddess’
Taylor Swift celebrated her 34th birthday on Wednesday night and received a sweet birthday tribute from long-time BFF Selena Gomez. The 31-year-old singer and businesswoman shared a mirror selfie of the pair on her instagram story.
“Happy birthday to the goddess that is @taylorswift,” Gomez wrote under the picture and added, “I love you.” In the photo, Selena is flashing a wide grin while looking at the mirror, whereas Taylor, who is holding the phone, is seen planting a kiss on Selena’s cheek.
Based on the outfit of the two best friends, it seems that the photo was taken last Friday night when the duo enjoyed a night out with other celebrity pals, which included Cara Delevingne, Zoe Kravitz, and Anya Taylor-Joy.
The celebrity squad was seen grabbing dinner at Brooklyn’s Lucali pizza joint after enjoying comedian Ramy Youssef’s performance at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. According to sources, “They all had a great time together in one of the opera boxes and thoroughly enjoyed the show.”
Taylor also opted to spend her birthday eve with her best friend of 15 years instead of attending the Gala hosted by Time Magazine, despite being named the “Person of the Year” by the publication. Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, also accompanied the duo. The group went out for dinner at the popular restaurant Zero Bond in New York.
On the evening of her special day, the “fearless” singer went out with another best friend of hers, Blake Lively. They were spotted entering The Box Nightclub in New York City. Taylor’s Beau Travis Kelce was not with her. He had to stay in Kansas City for compulsory football practice.
