1. Chris Noth

And just like that, it’s REALLY over for Chris Noth, A.K.A Mr.Big. The 67-year-old actor was accused of sexual assault by not one but THREE women. Not just the Sex And The City fandom, but some ad projects and even the movie, The Equalizer, have all bid their goodbyes to Mr. Big.

2. Chrissy Teigen

Yes, yes, she is the queen of Twitter and Instagram(?) ended up losing some crazy deals with big names like Macy’s, Target, and Bloomingdale’s when some of her tweets from 2011 came into light in early 2022. Apparently, 16-year-old Teigen had cyberbullied television personality Courtney Stodden for her marriage to 50-year-old Doug Hutchison. She even DM-ed Stodden.

3. Will Smith

And that was the strangest Oscars! Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars in March 2022 after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, specifically her shaved head. Smith did apologize to the other nominees seven minutes later while collecting the Best Actor award and resigned from the Academy while the Academy banned the King Richard actor for 10 years!

4. Ellen DeGeneres

The Ellen DeGeneres show ended in 2022 after this Buzzfeed article came out in July 2020 – apparently, the show had a very toxic workplace. There were even allegations of sexual misconduct against the popular 63-year-old host. Ellen said she wanted to look for something new – but #ifyouknowyouknow!

5. J.K. Rowling

The world perhaps canceled J.K. Rowling years ago after her questionable transphobic comments on Twitter, but the Harry Potter reunion was the final cancellation nail on her career’s most celebrated achievements – HBO did not invite Rowling to the 20th anniversary of the franchise she created. God, 2022 did set HIGH cancellation standards!

6. Justin Timberlake

Before the whole #FreeBritney went viral and Britney was finally free in November 202, Spears celebrated another victory in early 2022 when Framing Britney Spears, a documentary, came under the spotlight. It showed how Justin Timberlake unfairly tarnished Spears’s reputation – remember the music video of Cry Me a River, where Spears was accused of cheating!

7. DaBaby

Another ‘artist’ canceled for honestly saying things that did give him what he deserved. In July, the 30-year-old artist made some really weird homophobic slurs at the Rolling Loud Festival. After this incident, the rapper was subtly dropped from different line-ups and music festivals even his credits from Dua Lipa’s Levitating were removed. 

8. Marilyn Manson

Yet another celeb accused of sex trafficking and sexual assault. Yes, you read that right, Marilyn Manson, whose actual name is Brian Hugh Warner, had made some strange comments related to ‘keeping his partners locked up in a “bad girls’ room.”’ Later different recordings of various women, including his former partner, Evan Rachel Wood, also released that confirmed the accusations.
