There’s something for all of you on this list – classic sitcoms like Friends showing how ‘Friendsgiving’ is real. It’s just like how Buffy the Vampire Slayer adds a supernatural twist to this holiday special, enticing the audience with something spooktacular. Thanksgiving 2023: The Best TV Episodes To Watch When You Are Too Full To Move
As we were just saying, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. It’s time for way too much turkey, meeting your least favorite relatives, someone begging you to do the dishes, and, of course, texting that ex if they are back in town. Simply put, it is the coziest time of the year.
And if you feel like amping up those cozy vibes by at least a factor of ten, we definitely recommend getting back to bed or in some sort of a wearable blanket situation and binge-watching the sh** out of the iconic Thanksgiving episodes on screen.
And as we promised, there’s something for all of you – whether you watch to enjoy Bob Belcher’s Thanksgiving misadventures or opt for a raunchy Thanksgiving episode from Gossip Girl, we won’t disappoint. 9. The Homecoming: The O.C
We love The O.C. – of course, there’s no doubt about our feelings for Orlando Bloom. We appreciate the drama that this particular episode brings to the table. Here, we are talking about unexpected guests over the holidays, a massive breakup, and some drama. Please, pass the wine.
8. Black Friday: Superstore
Cloud 9 happens to be the busiest megastore in St Louis, Missouri. But on the much-coveted salesy Black Friday, it is a complete mayhem. Watch your favorite groups of cashiers come together to share the crazy on one of the busiest days of the year.
7. Blair Waldorf Must Pie: Gossip Girl
It’s Thanksgiving 2023, ladies. But that doesn’t mean we are going to forget about Blair Waldorf and her multiple temper tantrums. Only this time around (we mean in this episode) she has a point. Her dad is not coming back to New York for Thanksgiving. On the other hand, Dan has invited Serena, Eric, and Lily over to celebrate the holiday together.
Poor guy doesn’t know how awkward and dramatic things are going to become for his parents – and you can’t even blame Jenny this time.
6. The One with Rachel’s Other Sister: Friends
There’s no way we are forgetting Christina Applegate’s Emmy-winning performance as Rachel’s sister. When Rachel’s sister makes an appearance at Thanksgiving dinner, she ends up causing arguments among the six besties. Now, that’s how you stir a pot well!
5. Slapsgiving: How I Met Your Mother
Hosting your very first Thanksgiving in your small apartment in New York? Planning to hook up with an ex on Thanksgiving? Whoa! This HIMYN episode hits home, doesn’t it? Obviously, we come across the occasion of ‘slapsgiving’ for the first time – and it’s a vital cornerstone of the show!
4. A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving: Gilmore Girls
Rory and Lorelai are a very busy duo during Thanksgiving in this episode. The mother-daughter duo works hard, trying to squeeze in all the dinner invitations, but things begin to get tense when Lorelai finds out that Rory has been keeping secrets from her.

Of course, you don’t want to spend Thanksgiving 2023 with your colleagues. It doesn’t sound great! But then it’s kinda different for the crew in the 99th Precinct of NYC’s police department in Brooklyn.
Things go absolutely awry once Amy invites the crew over to her place to celebrate the holiday. Eventually, everyone enjoys a nice dinner at the precinct again.

Dwight happens to deal with major childhood trauma, and that is perhaps the only way he actually knows how by actually creating an elaborate and detailed hay festival so that he can crown himself the Hay King. Plus, Ryan attempts to scam people for plenty of money. How festive!
Bonus Thanksgiving 2023 Episode: Hungry Man, Dexter
It’s one of our favorite episodes of Dexter, and TBH, any attempt to actually summarize would just spoil the whole season. So, let’s just say that Dexter carving a turkey is a lot.
