Bachelorette Alum Josh Seiter Insists He ‘Didn’t Fake’ his death amid Instagram ‘hack’ speculation

Josh Seiter said he had legit nothing to do with the random death announcement which was posted to his Instagram account a few weeks ago.

The Bachelorette Alum who competed in season 2015 featuring Kaitlyn Bristowe said, “I didn’t fake my death, and I never would. I’m a victim of a hack.”

Here’s A Recap.

A statement purported to be written by Seiter’s family randomly appeared on his verified Instagram account, explaining how the reality tv star passed away suddenly at 36.

The statement said, “It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the tragic news of Joshua’s unexpected passing. As all who knew him can attest, Joshua was an incredibly bright light in an increasingly dim world. His fearless voice and indomitable spirit helped thousands of people in their darkest moments feel just a little less alone. We hope and pray that his spirit can continue to live on in the pictures and words on this page, which we will leave up for the time being,” the statement continued.”

No cause of death was mentioned. However, Seitzer has struggled with mental health problems like OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) and GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) for a long time. The next afternoon, the reality tv star shocked audiences by deleting the post and then uploading a selfie video with the caption – “alive and well.”

He also claimed that his Instagram account was “hacked for the last 24 hours” by people who were “playing a cruel joke and mocking” his mental health problems and previous suicide attempts.

The Chicago native also apologized for the “confusion” and “all the pain” that the hacker had caused, insisting he would “try to identify who was behind this.”

In Other News:

Of course, everyone was not buying this story. RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Monica Beverly Hillz ended up accusing her former romantic partner of actually orchestrating his own death.

She told Entertainment Weekly “I’m baffled. I’m angry. I’m happy he’s alive, I’m happy he’s here, but this is so infuriating to me.” She further claimed that the couple has rekindled their relationship only earlier this month, making it official on Instagram on the 12th-13th August weekend.

38-year old Hillz said she was then warned immediately to run, calling Seiter a “clout chaser,” and claiming he broke up with her only recently.
