Bob Barker’s Cause Of Death Revealed To Be Alzheimer’s

Bob Barker has died as a result of Alzheimer’s disease, TMZ reports.

His death certificate, obtained by the celebrity news outlet, says the 99-year-old The Price Is Right icon suffered from Alzheimer’s. He has never addressed the battle publicly in the past.

It remains unclear as to how long Barker suffered from the disease. The doctors say his death came “years” after his Alzheimer’s began.  

If you have been keeping tabs, Barker has had a number of falls over the years. He had minor battles with skin cancer. He also took 2 hospital trips for back issues in 2018.

Bob was a vegetarian for over 4 decades. He teamed up with PETA in 2013 to highlight the benefits of a vegan diet. He went on to say that giving up meat could prevent the onset of the brain disorder.

Bob’s rep told TMZ that Bob had died peacefully at his Los Angeles home on August 26. His passing has been met with immense love from all around the world.

CBS has expressed its gratitude to Bob for “making countless people’s dreams come true.” His role in The Price Is Right solidified his status as a people person. PETA also said that Bob’s longtime involvement with the organization has established him as “a national animal rights treasure.”

Bob’s estate will be divided and donated to over 40 different animal rights organizations and military nonprofits. He will be caring for the community even after death.
