“It’s A Lot Of Commotion,” Said Heidi Klum About Her Giant Halloween Costume
Around 13 years ago, ex-Victoria’s Secret angel, Heidi Klum, decided to hang up these wings, but then on Tuesday night, she actually grew a bunch of new feathers.
Klum’s intricate and detailed costume for her 2023 Halloween party actually took too many hours to finally accomplish, along with plenty of moving parts.
50-year-old Klum exclusively told Page Six Style about her prosthetic breakout right before the blowout bash held on Tuesday at the Marquee in New York. Klum’s red carpet entrance was grand – she was dressed like a stunning blue bird and was also joined by ten Cirque du Soleil professionals.
As per the earlier report, Klum made an entrance in the attire of a stunning blue bird and was accompanied by ten Cirque du Soleil professionals who pretended to be her outstretched feathers.
The transformation process was not easy; she did not get stressed because of that. She mentioned as she tried to move her eyelashes, “No. I’m not really anxious. I try to not get any glue in my eyes. There’s many people, there were 10 artists in there, getting painted with me at the same time.”
She further added, “So there’s a lot of moving parts and people needing this and that. You know, [hair]spray, and so it’s a lot of commotion with so many people doing this, you know? I thought it would be fun to do a costume with a bunch of people and so I came up with the idea of a peacock and to do this with 10 people and all make an amazing formation and then fan out.”
She knew what look she wanted this Halloween
She said, “We figured out how the positioning would be and who gets what kind of leotard and how is it painted on so that from the front it will look like a peacock.” she knew what she look she wanted this halloween and did not require any brainstorming.
Tom Kaulitz dressed up like a giant peacock egg and explained how his costume made sense. He said, “It’s not easy to come up with something that fits. So peacock, we thought, you know, egg could fit. Big egg!”
Klum further added, “We got really stuck on the egg [idea] immediately. I just didn’t want to do something similar. I feel like I’ve done a lot of prosthetics from head to toe, and I’ve done similar things, so I wanted to do something that people had not seen before, and that was this for me.” Klum is known for her choice of Halloween costumes. She previously dressed like Jessica Rabbit, the old lady from “Shrek,” an alien-zombie, among various other things.
