Jason Tartick Requests People to “please Be Kind” Amid Split From Fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe
Jason Tartick has shared some updates on how it feels after his split from ex-fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe.
The Bachelorette alum wrote on his Instagram story on Sunday with a photo of him kissing Bristowe’s forehead, “I will forever be grateful for this beautiful person that was brought into my life. Beyond heart broken.” (sic)
He further requested his followers to “Please be kind as we go through our individual journeys to heal,” as he thanked them for their “support and love over the years.”
He addressed the break-up in the Monday episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets.
Tartick admitted having recorded the intro for his podcast a second time as the first take “did not go well.” He began, “It’s been a bit of a challenge today and tonight,” he began, adding, “And when I’m prepared and feeling ready to talk through how these things also impact my life and what’s next for me, I will share those as I always try to hold my standard to share specifically what I ask of my guests.”
The duo announced their split four years after getting together in a joint statement on Instagram on Sunday. Tartick further added, “We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate.”
They both addressed the issue of raising their dogs Ramen and Pinot, saying the pups will be “cared for together as brothers.” Further adding, “While their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and take care of them together.”
They insisted that maintaining their friendship is “incredibly important” to them, saying, “We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other. It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die.”
Speculations of their relationship being in trouble began in late July when Bristowe was notably seen without her engagement ring.
She bit back at fans who went wild about it, saying, “I cannot believe the audacity of people to expect things from me when I haven’t even been able to process things for myself. Have a f–king heart.”
The duo started dating in January 2019 and got engaged in May 2021.
