Jeremy White To Go Through Daily Alcohol Testing Before Spending Time With Children!
Jeremy Allen White and his estranged wife, Addison Timlin, have finally filed for a custody agreement.
As per documents obtained by PEOPLE, Timlin and White, both 32, have managed to agree on joint custody over their two daughters — the 2- year-old Dolores Wild and the 4- year-old Ezer Billie. This agreement is valid only until White uses a Soberlink device in order to make sure that he is sober whenever he meets his children.
The Bear star will have to test not once but twice every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday when he gets custodial time with his children. When he is with his daughters on Saturdays, he will have a test thrice, and in the case of Sundays, only once, as per the document.
He also has to go to individual therapy sessions once a week and Alcoholics Anonymous at least twice a week.
What Is A Soberlink Device?
As per the official Soberlink website, it’s a “professional-grade breathalyzer system with facial recognition that automatically sends results in real-time to designated individuals.”
So, it’s a type of breathalyzer that can check whether you are sober or not.
Timlin And White’s Divorce: A Recap
After staying married for three years, in May, Timlin filed for divorce. Briefly, after the pair made their separation official, the Californication star spoke candidly about bringing her daughters up as a new single mother and the obstacles that she has come across after the breakup.
She captioned a collection of pictures featuring her children, saying, “Being a single mom is not how I pictured it. It is so f—ing hard. It is all out covered in s—, crying on the floor, kicking you in the shins, screaming with no sound coming out hard. It’s not the natural order of things.”
Timlin also noted that a single parent’s life could get ‘lonely,’ and ‘exhausting,’ particularly “When something magical happens, and you have to tell yourself ‘don’t forget this’ because there’s no witness by your side. It’s so painful. Doing it alone has given me more strength, more empathy, and more tears than anything else in my life ever has.”
Coming Back To The Present:
Since the pair’s separation in May, it seems like the estranged duo has managed to reach common ground. At their daughter’s soccer game recently, the pair were spotted hugging.
At the time, a source even revealed to PEOPLE, “They are still separated, but getting along. They love their children, and all spend time together. When she filed for divorce, she was upset. Things have settled a bit. When Jeremy works, she feels emotionally drained. There is still a lot of love between them, though.”
