Kim Kardashian Was Called For Jury Service In A Case Of Gang Murder

Kim Kardashian went to court this week. It was not as a litigant or a lawyer, but as a juror in a case of gang murder, according to TMZ. Kim went to the courthouse all week as she was part of the jury panel in a case where a gang member was killed by two other people from a separate gang.

The producer of TMZ was in the court during the voir dire, where the defense lawyers and the prosecutors questioned all the prospective jurors. Kim was also a part of the group, eating snacks during the breaks in the hallway with the other prospective jurors. Other than any prospective jurors, she dressed fancy this Thursday. She wore a white sleeveless blouse, leather pants, and high boots.

Late that Thursday, the lawyers agreed on twelve jurors and four alternatives. But before there was a chance to question her, she left the courthouse and concluded her jury service. And true to her form, there were cameras all around the parking lot from her Hulu show while she jumped into the SUV and left the premises.

The producer of TMZ mentioned that the other jurors did not get starstruck when they saw her and treated her as one of them that Thursday. While the court was in session, Kim’s bodyguard sat in the peanut gallery, which is the front row right next to her.

It is a known fact that Kim is preparing to become a lawyer and has passed the “baby bar” in California. Now she is preparing for the actual bar exam. For the last few years, she has been working actively on prison reforms and has even worked to secure the release of some prison inmates.
