It is that time of the year again. Time for the biggest fashion night, time for Met Gala 2024. Celebrities came to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday, the 6th of May, for the annual Met Gala.
There is nothing unknown about the fact that the extravaganza is organized in order to raise money for the Costume Institute of the museum. This year, Anna Wintour hosted the event, and Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Zendaya, and Bad Bunny were her co-chairs.
The theme for the Met Gala 2024 was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and this theme was inspired by the 1962 short story by J.G. Ballard of the same name. The theme went hand-in-hand along with the dress code, “The Garden of Time.”
