Britney Spears Is Not Ready For An Interview Before The Release Of Her Awaited Book
The upcoming tell-all by Britney Spears is going to reveal a lot. All the TV outlets, including CBS’ “60 Minutes,” are looking forward to an interview with the popstar before the release of the awaited memoir, which is releasing next month, “The Woman in Me.”
But her sources told Page Six that Spears is not yet ready for an interview. One of the sources pointed out that the reason for not giving any interview could be her Instagram post, but another source said the decision was solely Spears’s.
They said, “She’s a free woman. She’ll decide. It’s her choice. She’s had offers, and she doesn’t want to do anything.” her relationship with the media has always been complicated. In 2021, the New York Times made a documentary on media controversies about her, naming it “Framing Britney Spears.”
Another source said “she has no desire” to give an interview because her “mental health, sexuality, parenting, and body image constantly scrutinized. They have not been fair to Britney.”
The source said her book has it all; no topic has been “off limits” in this book and it has covered every area. However, Spears made an indication that she might have held something back.
She made an Instagram post saying, “There’s so much I’ve kept private that’s gone on with me personally, and maybe one day I can let people know … until then, there’s 3 sides to every story! Your side, my side, and the truth!”Page Six covered the news that Britney Spears made a deal worth fifteen million dollars to write her story. But there will not be any interviews before the book is released.
