Jaclyn Smith Makes Son’s Weekend Wedding a Charlie’s Angels Reunion With Kate Jackson
Charlie’s Angels alum Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson were spotted together in a rare public outing after over four decades since their television series went off air.
The two yesteryear bombshells were seen together in video footage posted on Smith’s Instagram on Wednesday. They were attending Jaclyn’s son Gaston Richmond’s wedding that took place over the weekend.
They posed for photos along with Smith’s husband, Brad Allen.
Mother of the groom, Jaclyn, 77, donned an elegant piece- a sequined green dress with feathers for extra oomph. She also had her 70’s blonde hairstyle going. Jackson, on the other hand, appeared more casual in white slacks, a beige blazer, and a light blue shirt to go. She added brown sunglasses to complete the look.
Sharing the post, Smith has captioned it, saying, “There is nothing like family, and ours grew this weekend! I’m so endlessly proud of my son Gaston and am wishing him and Bonnie a lifetime of happiness.”
Jackson has been photographed in public over a decade since attending the funeral of her Charlie’s Angels co-star Farrah Fawcett. Her last acting credits rolled in an episode of Criminal Minds in 2007.
Jackson, 74, had also appeared last in an episode of Bravo’s competition series Shear Genius back in 2008, which was hosted by Smith. Both the actors got their first big breaks in Charlie’s Angels, airing between 1976-1981.
Jackson, however, refused to continue with her part in 1979, citing that her role as Sabrina Duncan was “killing” her life. She revealed to Closer Weekly in June 2022, “I’d had it with Hollywood’s long hours, the politics, the backstabbing, and the gossip. It was not a great town for having your feet on the ground and living a normal life.”
