Jamie Foxx Is Sued For Sexual Assault That Happened In a NYC Restaurant
Jamie Foxx is accused of assaulting a woman in NYC in 2015. TMZ obtained the lawsuit, which mentioned that the Oscar-winning actor met the plaintiff at the Catch NYC & Roof in August of the same year.
It is said that she arrived around 11 P.M., and after a few hours, this unknown personality and one of her friends were sitting just at the next table to Foxx and asked the actor for a photo which he agreed to.
According to her, 55-year-old Foxx was intoxicated and replied with, “Sure, baby, anything for you.” after they clicked a few photos together, Foxx mentioned that she smelled good and had the body of a supermodel.
The woman claimed that the actor pulled her by the arm, took her to the back of the rooftop, and started touching her inappropriately. She also claimed that Fox slid his under her top to rub against her breasts.
The women claimed that there were a few people present at the place. There were some security guards as well who witnessed the assault. But they did not do anything about it. They did not try to help her out of the situation even though they saw she was trying to get out of his grip.
She alleged that Fox even slid his hands inside her pants and put his fingers inside her anus and vagina. She mentioned that the assault stopped when her friend came to find her and saw what was happening.
The plaintiff has filed a lawsuit against the restaurant and Foxx and is suing them for punitive damages and compensatory. She claimed that she went through medical treatment and had suffered emotional distress because of the “sexual assault, abuse, assault, and battery.” representatives of Foxx have not yet commented on the matter.
