Marvel Dropped Jonathan Majors After He Was Found Guilty Of The Assault Charges
Jonathan Majors is not a part of Marvel anymore. TMZ confirmed that he is out of a job “cause Marvel is dropping him from all projects in the MCU, and cutting ties in the wake of his guilty verdict.”
Sources have got the news that one of the largest movie studios, disney, is not going to go forward with this embattled actor. That means he is going to be playing the role of one of the biggest villains in the Marvel Universe, that is, Kang the Conqueror.
This is a huge blow, as he played the character in one of the biggest Marvel movies, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and in both seasons of “Loki,” the Disney+ show. The second season of Loki showed a big part of Kang and all his variants.
By the records, Jonathan was supposed to portray Kang for at least the next two Marvel movies, and the studio said that he could become the next form of Thanos in the franchise. Not that everything has changed, and the two new Avenger movies that are in the making right now were attached to Kang, but now that things have changed, they will go in another direction.
There were rumors that Marvel was looking for other options before the trial began, and now things look like they are going to begin. There has been no news if they are going to recast Kang or bring up some new bad guy. Whatever the case be, Majors lost his job from one of the biggest employers and would lose out on millions. The decision was swift, and it took them not more than some hours after he was declared guilty in the trial. He was charged with harassment and assault charges by his ex-girlfriend in March.
