Oscar Isaac and Kevin Feige on the ‘Brutal’ and ‘Nutty’ Nature of ‘Moon Knight’

Moon Knight is one of the most varied and mysterious heroes of Marvel. The plethora of personas and personalities that lie under his mask are indeed breathtaking. On March 30, Marvel Studio’s Moon Night is arriving exclusively; this is the latest reason for happiness for the Marvel Fans.

To make you hyped about the Moon Knight, Oscar Isaac, the lead star, and the President Of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige have made a twist. Together they gave a sneak peek into the action-loaded brutal series collaborating with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The newest issue of Empire Magazine has covered it.

What Are The Glimpses Issac and Feige Have Given?

“The idea of getting back to ‘handmade’ films, character studies… I was desperate for that feeling. “It felt ‘handmade’…And it’s the first legitimate Marvel character-study since Iron Man.” Isaac revealed exclusively to Empire Magazine his decision to join the MCU. He continued, ‘Maybe I can hijack this thing,'” continued Isaac. “‘Maybe this is the chance to do something really…nutty on a major stage.’”

“He’s brutal. It’s been fun to work with Disney+ and see the boundaries shifting on what we’re able to do. There are moments [in the series] when Moon Knight is wailing on another character, and it is loud and brutal, and the knee-jerk reaction is, ‘We’re gonna pull back on this, right?’ No. We’re not pulling back. There’s a tonal shift. This is a different thing. This is Moon Knight,” Feige remarked to Empire.

On the other hand, Issac admitted, “It’s Risky. He’s an obscure hero, and the things we’re dealing with are very different. But because it’s a limited series, rather than a movie, the pressure isn’t there to make sure the opening weekend is massive. We’re able to take more risks, to bring that experimental quality on a huge scale.”

What About The Crew?

Moon Knight starred Oscar Issac along with May Calamway, and Ethan Hawke. The team of Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, and Mohamed Diab directed all the episodes. The executive producers include names like Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, Mohamed Diab, Oscar Issac, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum. Grant Curtis, Rebecca Kirsch, Trevor Waterson are serving as co-executive producers. In addition to that Jeremy Slater is the head scriptwriter.

The Takeaway

Amidst these talk-ups, Marvel Studios Tweeted on Wednesday, “It’s an exploration of a mind that doesn’t know itself.” Oscar Isaac and Kevin Feige give a glimpse at how “brutal” and “nutty” Marvel Studios’ #MoonKnight will be when the limited series lands on #DisneyPlus March 30.

The Marvel fandom is in a situation of Ants In One’s Pants and holding their breath till March 30th. To learn more about Moon Knight, keep following the Twitter Updates of Marvel Studios.
