RDJ Looks Dashing At The Premiere Of “The Sympathizer”
Robert Downey Jr seems excited about the premiere of the new HBO original series “The Sympathizer.” he posted a video about the production and how they made the entire thing happen, along with the caption, “Strap in. The @HBO Original Limited Series #TheSympathizer premieres tomorrow at 9pm ET exclusively on @streamonmax.”
He is attending the premiers and has mentioned how he prepared himself for the role he played in the series. His kids were a big help and prepared him for the role. Even though they were a little anxious about him shaving his head, their contribution meant a lot.
He Asked His Kids To Help Him Get Ready For The Role
Previously, in October 2022, Robert Downey Jr posted a video in which his kids were seen helping him shave his head and having a candid conversation about the series that he was prepping for. He mentioned that he did not want to wear a bald cap, so asking help from his kids.
Downey, being the brilliant actor he is, plays four different characters. The series is based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s novel of the same name, which has also won a Pulitzer. The novel has a setting of the end of the Vietnam War and tells the story of an unnamed spy who goes by the name The Captain.
He comes to the United States, gathers intel, and reports back to Downey, who plays the role of a CIA operative, a congressman, a professor, and a movie director. Each of these characters plays an important role in the spy’s journey.
He attended the show’s premiere with his wife, Susan Downey. They went to Los Angeles and turned some heads with their dazzling looks.
