Angelina Jolie Confesses To Not Having A ‘Social Life’; Calls Kids Are Her “Close Friends”
During a recent interview with WSJ Magazine, Angelina Jolie disclosed that her six kids – twins Knox and Vivienne, 15, Shiloh, 17, Zahara, 18, Pax, 20, and Maddox, 22 are the “Closest people” she has in life. “They are the closest people to me and my life, and they’re my close friends,” she said.
Jolie also mentioned during the interview, “We’re seven very different people, which is our strength. We had to heal. There are things we needed to heal from.”
The actress revealed that aside from her children, she has a close-knit group of female friends on whom she relies for support. Talking about her closest group of female friends, Jolie commented, “I realized my closest friends are refugees,” and further added, “Maybe four out of six of the women that I am close to are from war and conflict.”
Jolie also mentioned that she is not dating anyone at the moment and confessed, “I don’t really have … a social life.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got married in 2014, but she petitioned for divorce in 2016. She alleged that ‘Once upon a time in…Hollywood’ actor physically and verbally abused her and two of their children under the influence of alcohol while onboard a private flight.
The 59-year-old had denied the allegations made against him. The FBI also evaluated the claims of abuse but decided not to press any criminal charges.
However, since the divorce, Pitt has not been seen or photographed with his children. It seems Brad Pitt is not on good terms with his children. Last month, an old instagram story of Pitt’s adopted son Pax made headlines. In the post, Pax Jolie Pitt slams Brad Pitt and calls him a ‘world-class a**hole.’
