Lil Tay’s Former Manager Refuses To Believe That Her Social Media Was Hacked
Lil Tay’s previous manager is not buying the claims of the young rapper that her social media handle was hacked. After the post went viral on her verified Instagram profile about the death of the young rapper and her brother, Lil Tay reappeared and put an end to the allegations.
But it was Harry Tsang who refused to believe anything and told The Post on Thursday, “I think she’s still alive, and I think it was fake.” after the news turned out to be a hoax, he did not try to connect with Tay and does not intend to do so as well. He further commented, “I don’t believe anything that they say about the hacking. I’m glad that she’s OK.”
Her 32-year-old former manager clarified the reason why he refused to confirm or deny the passing of his client, even though the news popped up on social media. He told The Post, “The reason why I have that statement was that after I spoke to Duane Laventure [Lil Tay’s former social media manager] and Chris Hope [Lil Tay’s father], they cannot even confirm if she really passed away or not. That’s why I said that.”
Tay gave a statement to the outlet on Thursday, saying, ‘I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken and struggling to even find the right words to say. It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones, all while trying to sort out this mess.”
