Matt LeBlanc Gets Emotional While Talking About His Dear Friend Matthew Perry’s Death
It is hard to get over the death of a friend. The death of Matthew Perry left everyone shocked. He was found dead at his home in a hot tub. According to reports, there was no foul play involved in his death, and some prescription pills were found in his home.
The ‘Friends” cast did not respond in the beginning but later issued a joint statement with their individual initials. In the statement, Courteney Cox, Jenifer Anniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc mentioned, “We were more than just colleagues. We are a family.”
They further added, “There is so much to say, but right now, we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time, we will share more when we are able to. At this moment, our thoughts and love go out to Matty’s family, his friends, and all those who loved him worldwide.”
The statement they released showed how mean Perrt means to them. The death of Perry left the cast in distress. Matt LeBlanc was first photographed driving alone last Wednesday. He tried to cover his face, but it was evident how disheartened he was with the loss of his friend.
LeBlanc was a real friend to Perry. When he saw Perry struggling in 2022 with his addiction, he tried to reach out to him. In an interview back in 2016 LeBlanc described their friendship as a shorthand.
The whole cast of friends had each other’s back both onset and offset. They all supported Perry through his difficult time with addiction and stood by him. But he was in a better place and was trying to get his life back on track. He had been to death’s door, but this was not how anybody expected his life to end.
