Takeoff (rapper of Migos), whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and then pronounced dead at a Bowling Alley after a Dice game.
Takeoff, aged just 28 years old, was the youngest member of the Atlanta-based Hip-Hop group called Migos.
He was the youngest of the trio, the two other members of the group being Offset (cousin) and Quavo (uncle).
It has been reported by both Law enforcement and multiple witnesses that the gruesome incident took place shortly after 2.30 AM. After this, the cops got a call for a man who was shot at the “810 Billiards & Bowling” bowling alley in Houston.
It has been said that Quavo was present during the incident and was playing dice along with Takeoff when suddenly an argument broke out at the alley, right after which someone suddenly started open-firing.
A total of about 5 shots were fired, shooting Takeoff near the head. He was then pronounced dead at the scene. Quavo was not harmed.
About 50 other people were also present at the bowling alley where this incident took place. Reportedly, two other people also got injured and are currently being treated at a local hospital.
No arrests have been made till now.
Takeoff posted a photo of himself smoking at the bowling alley just a few hours prior to the incident. A few hours before also, Quavo had uploaded a video of himself driving about Houston with Jas Prince, while the latter was commemorating his birthday.
According to reports, Jas Prince was not present when the shooting took place.
Takeoff was unarguably one of the best rapper of Migos. Tributes have started pouring in for the rapper since this morning. Another one of the people lost to senseless violence.
