Spiderman Star Tom Holland to Take a year-long break after a tough time filming new series

Tom Holland has announced that he will be taking a year-long break after wrapping up work on his new series ‘The Crowded Room’ for Apple TV+. The 27-year-old British Actor, who was also one of the executive producers of the series, has revealed that filming it was a “dificult” experience for him.

In a recent interview, Holland talked about his work on the series, ‘The Crowded Room’ as an actor and a producer. “It was a tough time, for sure,” he said. “We were exploring certain emotions that I have definitely never experienced before. And then on top of that, being a producer, dealing with the day-to-day problems that come with any film set, just added that extra level of pressure.”

He added, “I’m now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was.”

The Marvel actor mentioned that he is no stranger to hard work and has always lived his life by the idea that hard work is good work. But even though he “loved the learning curve of becoming a producer,” the actor admitted that the show made him reach his breaking point. “There did come a time where it sort of was like, ‘I need to have a break, and I disappeared and went to Mexico for a week.’ “He revealed during the interview.

“I am excited to see how it turns out, and I feel like our hard work wasn’t in vain,” Holland concluded.

Tom Holland portrays Danny Sullivan in the series, ‘The Crowded Room,’ who is arrested by the police after a shooting in New York City in 1979. Alongside Holland, the cast of ‘The Crowded Room’ will feature the likes of Will Chase, Amanda Seyfried, Sasha Lane, and Lior Raz.

The first three episodes of ‘The Crowded Room’ will be streamed this Friday, June 9, on Apple TV+.
